Adventures in Malta

Funny how long I have been on this island and not shared much of it with you!

Time to change that!

Sorry I have been late to post, I've been struggling with some physical symptoms that have made me a bit under the weather

Plus...I don't finish one of my stories in the video...

what I was saying was " I went to a workshop and basically paid $25 to sit on a rock with people!" and then I started talking about something else, lol......

Come to the beach with me!!!!

Someone has to take the first step. 🙂

Good questions. Yes, night trekking in remote areas is very dangerous, even for people doing it in groups. This is one reason I chose to risk it to begin with, to test and train myself to remain calm in dangerous situations, since I've been in a few before and was lucky to get myself out of them. The second reason is to train my focus and attention to what's happening around me in the moment, because danger can be also present in broad daylight at very centralised places in other forms. The third reason is I love adventure and have always found social activities commonly done by most people to be both mundane and superficial.

Mat Mic

why woud you trek in pitch black night? is it not dangerous? I knew a guy who fell to his death near ghan tuffhia (can't spell) ...having said that I'm definitely up for exploring some new places

Thank you Mat for the offer, I am possibly visiting over the new year which isn't great weather wise but if it happens I will definitely drop you a message.

There are three routes to and out of Selmun. If you're ever in Malta, I'd be happy to be your guide for Selmun 🙂

Mat Mic

Yep! Selmun is one of the most beautiful areas in Malta, perfect, hiking, trekking and swimming. If you're adventurous like me and enjoys more challenging trekking, the entire area is pitch black at night. The bay area is called "L-imgiebah", I've been swimming here on an almost weekly basis since May now. I Highly recommended it to explore for those of you interested in visiting Malta.

That beach looked like it was definitely worth the effort to find a way down to it, and I can't believe anyone would abandon those villas! They would be cool to do some urban exploring one day.
