Yesterday I asked you if it was ok to post my darkest days. You might think that is a strange thing to ask when I am in the midst of an Authenticity Challenge. However, let's be clear some people tune in for the content that they want to see, and i might make assumptions about that, and that then causes some fear in me that if I do not live up to those expectations that I may lose my followers and then thanks to your encouragement I realised that I have to keep sharing exactly as I have been, with the good days and the bad days, and everything in between, because that IS my fear; to be judged unfavourably UNLESS I am "perfect" UNLESS I am "uplifting, fun, sexy, funny, fantastic, hilarious" etc, and what kind of pressure would that be?
Wasn't that the whole point of the challenge? To stop living within those confines?
And so, thank you, yet again, for bringing me back to the right focus, and for allowing me to share times that for me are almost unbearable to share in front of anyone.
This video I am sharing is when my thinking becomes very dark, when I am triggered, when I feel isolated and alone and I have no one to confide in. Days when I feel like everything will not go right, where I feel completely and utterly alone. These days are definitely the worst, and the good news is that like everything, these days pass.
Thank you. As usual, this is a two way conversation, feel free to add your comments and observations and whatever is arising in you.
