New year and new projects!
Added 2019-01-03 23:25:07 +0000 UTCHappy new year everyone! I've finally gotten back into the saddle a bit with work, personal and professional so expect some every day equipment work soon for sure!
The holidays went okay, not everything is perfect when you have family that you cant speak to. I got to see the family I want to see together in one spot for the first time in about 9 years, which is a big deal. We don't agree politically, environmentally, or on how to treat people in general, which made things even more tough. I think I cried every day I was there, at least once.
But I'm back home, after seeing everyone, taking my nieces and nephews horseback riding and getting some time to make art with them. That was the real pleasure in it all.
I hope you all had a wonderful holiday and that you were able to weather the kind of difficult and testing conversations, people, and things that crop up when people have to come together for whatever obligations they might feel they have.
I will say though, getting to see my friend-family after the trip, for new years, was the real highlight, and so much more relaxing.
Here is to a new year, and CONTINUING to fill our lives with people who are a positive force for us.
