Chromatic Aberration, also known as Lenticular blur!

I got this great question off a tumblr follower not too long ago, and got that question again today! This technique adds a bit of that colorful haze seen on the edge of images that acts similar to bounce lighting that we see in the world around us,  and makes them feel more atmospheric!  So here yo go! a bit of a shorter text tutorial as I pick away at my first big video piece :)

ADDING CHROMATIC ABERRATION!

Whell!

There are a couple options, and I will show you two ways! to get from this

To this!

Of doing this is a little easier but also gives you a much more INTENSE color shift, since rather than slightly bowing our color channels through the lens correction filter, we are shifting the whole channel.

This way is a little harder to adjust I think, but has its uses.  Make sure though as you are shifting your layers, you click the eye icon for your RGB channels, and are able to watch the changes(without the visible eye icon clicked you wont see the layers!).

I hope that helps! and as always with photoshop,

USE IN AWESOMEMODERATION!

Thanks for following my Patreon and enjoy! and please please please share! :) Im always looking to answer more questions!
