“After the close of the Second World War a new energy source was discovered. Atomix, discovered as a bi-product of the atomic bomb, Atomix instantly revolutionized the world. Fossil fuels were removed overnight and within a decade this wonder material was powering every nation in the world with pure clean energy. Technology leaped decades ahead seemingly overnight with developments in electronics, metallurgical manufacturing and repulser-generated flight became the norm. Wars became a thing of the past as scarcity itself became scarce.

However not everything can last. Fifty years later in the late 90s, just as the world was establishing its second base on mars, an alien race attacked. Their advanced weapons and space flight capabilities proving to be more advanced. The first wave was driven off and the world once again turned toward war, this time on a United front. Instead of creating spacecraft and tanks, a new idea was implemented to deal with the alien menace… the Battle Betty! Using the most advanced robotic technology the United earth coalition was able to create robotic bodies capable of fighting the alien scourge on even footing. However, no AI was yet advanced enough to pilot the machine and radio control proved too slow, to get around this the engineers tested the very first digital transfer! With its success a lottery was created with the brave winners becoming earths first line of defense! With the help of the Battle Bettys we can win!
