So for this test I scaled back the complexity and tried making it based on the timing. 5 frames of movement. Five frames of stillness.
This worked pretty well but still something seems off. It’s too human still. So I realize that the pause is important but the actual action is just as important.
It gets a little confusing in the end when I got mixed up between the moving parts, but that helped me realize that; whatever the method, I want the toy to move all at once or nothing at all.
