Trapped in a 2d diorama
Added 2025-03-25 16:49:38 +0000 UTCKelsey panicked, she tried to move her legs, her arms, anything, but it was no good. Her form felt compressed and alien, her body and limbs just flattened sheets of painted metal connected by faintly squeaking metal pins. She couldn't control her arms or legs, they now were connected by thin rods to the mechanism that pulled her back and forth across the christmas-y diorama endlessly.
Her right leg was planted firmly, connected to the track by a spinning gear, her left leg however swung up to an impossible angle, controlled by the rod. Her limbs had no articulation, neither her arm or moving leg were anything but planks of painted metal. How long would she be stuck like this? Would anyone recognize her? would they do anything to help? or would she just be nothing but a colorful 2d decoration wheeling across the display to them, forgotten within moments?
