Doll faces
Added 2024-10-11 12:13:07 +0000 UTCPlaying around with the faces is always fun and wanted to take a second to show the small subtle differences between the regular faces and the doll faces. I try to make the doll face have larger eyes and the position of the mouth grows a bit wider. Also I’ve recently started trying to use an effect to erase the pupils which I think gives the dolls a more open and vacant look.
Which do you all like better, and why?

I think without pupils looks better, that makes looking like hypnotized with in mind only being a pretty toy

If the dolls are still mentally themselves I would not use the pupilless version. experimenting with their size would be good! But the lips in any case are really silly and dolllike, that oversized smile helps with the vacantness all by itself

2024-10-11 13:38:48 +0000 UTCIn my opinion I prefer normal pupils, since as they are dolls that look like humans it would be more normal for them to have normal pupils and in my opinion without pupils it would be more in the case of a person being mentally controlled by a very powerful machine, but that is just my opinion, the truth is that these details are appreciated, they are almost imperceptible but when you notice them they look very good and the dedication you put into them is appreciated.
