Many a story has been told about the jolly old man himself. Ruler of the north pole and bringer of toys and treats to those on his Nice list, Santa. Fewer know of Santa's counterpart, Krampas, who scares and terrifies those on the naughty list. They are tied hand in hand, two halves of the same coin.
So when it comes to pass that stories are made of St Nick having a daughter; Noel, or Holly, or some other festive name, who embodies a slightly different part of the Christmas season than her father, wouldn't it make sense that Krampus would have the same?
Krampus's daughter, Krampette, is a twist on punishing the naughty, you see. For she delights in the feeling of making everyone be on the nice list, whether they want to or not.
"But you see, Kesley, Now that you're a toy you don't need to worry about being naughty ever again, and you'll make a wonderful present for someone who is on the nice list. Two birds with one stone, and all that.- Ooh this wine is delicious- you won't mind if I finish the bottle? Not like you can use it any more."
