Twin toy soldiers
Added 2022-04-05 14:36:39 +0000 UTCSo, one of my favorite outfits I ever made in SL was this adorable toy soldier outfit that I twinned with my girlfriend with and it was adorable. I decided to recreate it in DAZ and this was the results. I like it quite a lot.
Short Story to go with it:
Two friends go to a carnival. Enjoying the food, the games, the shows, and the strange animatronics that are scattered around the fairground. As the night goes on. A barker calls them up onto stage. The curtain drops, then opens to reveal both girls now transformed into near identical looking toys. Perfect mirrored opposite of each other in whites and blacks.
They are frozen. Unable to move. Until they hear the sound of the keys in their back beginning to tick and tock. They both begin to move, but not under their own control.
They can only move their eyes. Flicking back and forth as their bodies animate. People stopping to stare as they move about on stage in silly ways that exaggerates their new mechanical bodies.
They turn toward each other. Mouthes an exaggerated O of surprised as if they just noticed each other. Squaring up to salute.
The two can only stare into each other’s plastic eyes as they begin to lean forward. Lips puckering out. Heads tilting to the side in unison.
At long last they separate. Returning to the starting positions as the curtains close. They sigh, thinking they will be turned back now… only to have the curtains spread open again. Their bodies move once more. Beginning to repeat the same actions again. And again. And again…
