2023-06-07 10:28:03 +0000 UTCThe idea that a 'good version' of this trope is actually a different trope entirely is something that hadn't occurred to me before. It reminds me of the mlp episodes in which 'Dark magic' is portrayed more as negative emotions that aren't being expressed properly and held inside rather than being let out, whereas anger fueled magic that isn't poorly expressed is just... Magic.
