every damn you do make me think of the one meme from rick and morty where the on guy say god damn to rick

macattack

so unbelievably excited for you to get to chromakopia. it’s probably my favorite album sans wolf or maybe bastard. it’s definitely the album that goes deepest

kiana

HEAVEN TO ME samples a John Legend song, Heaven, produced by Kanye West. Also, there's a Heaven remix with Pusha T.

Feignorance

Sorry not sorry should’ve been nominated for a Grammy for best rap song or record, idk the difference lmao. Might be Tyler’s best song IMO

Adam

You actually have heard BOYFRIEND, GIRLFRIEND before! It's in the Corso music video in the background of the party before Tyler performs! I remember I heard it in the background when the album came out and fell in love with it, then he released it on the Estate Sale!

Marsie

I thought it was a reference to that skit he made a long time ago saying he adopted a girl named esmeralda

Luna

YESS! Please!

Pajama Strategist

Just wanna clarify this for you: He battles with the traditional view of what life should be (married, kids, happy family) and what he desires. You’ll hear this more on Chromakopia but this is something he battles and fears that he’ll regret not going the traditional route as you’ll soon hear on Chromakopia. Hope that helps.

Pajama Strategist

So the military figure that's greeting everyone at the start of sorry not sorry is the main character for his next album

AH

Last comment i swear but if you have time for features in this era you have to do “cash in cash out” with pharrell and 21 savage and “neon peach” with snoh aalegra they both have MV’s :)

Also the “if you dont know my daughter name then we aint really dawgs” line on dogtooth is just another clever way of saying if you really knew me you would know i dont have a daughter. Just another way of calling out the fakes lol

Brandon Phillips

You definitely had it right about the second verse on “HEAVEN TO ME”. Its more of a projection on what he see’s as a potential future for himself and what heaven would be like for him when he gets to that time in his life.
