Added 2025-10-14 23:09:53 +0000 UTCHi Hello! I hope you are all having a great week thus far :)
Updates/Feedback Requests
First off, thank you for your continued patience with me, especially this past month. Truthfully, I have not been well; this grieving is hitting me really, really hard. Plus, there has been so much to handle in getting affairs in order that I've had a lot less time to focus on content. Not to mention my side quests, which were a really needed spark of joy. My grandfather's memorial is this Saturday, so I'm hoping that helps me in this ongoing grief journey. Anyways, I just cannot express how grateful I am to those of you who have chosen to stick around despite the chaos; it truly means the world to me.
That said, I am really going to try to get the filming schedule back on track this week and next week. There is one more side quest video I had already filmed that will be coming, but then I promise we will get back on track with the hip hop/rap journey.
There will be a few livestreams instead of traditional reaction posts scattered in to help get me a little ahead again. That way, I can get back to posting extra bonus days again, too. So keep a lookout for those on the schedule.
For those of you who are international, I would love to schedule some livestreams at a time more accessible to you. Would doing some on like 10:00 am CST on a Saturday make it better for any of you? I can also do a poll, but figured I would get some initial feedback first :)
Thank you so much to those of you who filled out the Google Form Content Questionnaire. It has been extremely helpful! Based on the current results, the top 6 artists (5th spot is a tie) that people would like to see some song reactions to between Tyler, the Creator albums are 2Pac, J. Cole, JID, Outkast, Mac Miller, & Nas. Could you let me know in the comments what the top 3 songs you would like to see from each artist? (or at least the artists you are interested in)
p.s. If you didn't get a chance to fill out the Google Form Content Questionnaire yet, it is still open. I'm going to continue to utilize the results in my content planning :) It shouldn't take more than a few minutes to complete, and it is 100% anonymous. It doesn't require your email or anything.
Upcoming Schedule-
Thursday, October 16th = * LIVESTREAM - Cherry Bomb The Documentary + Nardwuar vs. Tyler, The Creator (2015)
Sunday, October 19th = Sabrina vs. Nardwuar Interview
Thursday, October 23rd = Jay Rock ft. Kendrick songs
Sunday, October 26th = Flower Boy
As always, thank you for all the love and support, and I hope you have a great night or day wherever you are 🖤 - Vambie

I don't know if you're still taking requests but: 2Pac: Brenda's Got a Baby, So Many Tears, Me Against The World Tupac has a lot of incredible songs but I think you'd be be interested in breaking these songs down. Nas: NY State of Mind, I Gave You Power, Purple Nas is my favorite artist and it was hard to pick three songs. I think that Nas is a great storyteller and I really hope you end up checking out his albums in depth.

2025-10-19 06:25:28 +0000 UTCTake your time grieving, we can't choose how it hits us. The Saturday time works really for me too for livestreams, I should be able to make most of them and handle mod duties. People have already posted great song recommendations, I just wanna note that if you do 2007 by JID you should do the original version that's on Youtube (the official visualizer one on the Dreamville channel), not the streaming version. There's a short sample in the original that didn't get cleared, it's just a nice little easter egg but you'll recognize and appreciate it. I HIGHLY recommend doing a full reaction to JID's The Forever Story at some point though, amazing album. He also did a fantastic Tiny Desk for that album.
