Opposites Attract - "I don't know about Love..." he is admitting to his own inability to love, and his ignorance of understanding love.. he does not know his feelings of love for her, nor even love for his self... it brings out certain defensive feelings towards himself that are honest but negative. Her allowing him to scape goat from honestly expressing his emotions by continuing to love him so caringly and blissfully; and overall all of this with her probably triggering him to want to hurt her in various ways for still loving him at the cost of her own self love(*his perception). And why does he get this way with her, acting out so negatively and emotional?? Because at the root of it all where his true self resides, exist his true feelings for her.... and he truly is in love with her. The endless unhealthy cycle of ignorance, hurting and heart break... and never enough simple honesty and love for self(yourself.....& myself) He does love her, because he is always listening to her and remembers everything she expresses to him and he acknowledges all of it in this song and how much he takes what she says to heart.

The other Casper reference you were looking for was in rigamortis so it’s actually kinda cool to see that just like you said ignorance is bliss is like a mini rigamortis

Ignorance is Bliss was the 1st song that made me notice Kendrick was different. Then last year the beef made me really dig deep in his albums and mixtapes. Barbed Wire is one of my favorite tracks and I think it's underrated. Glad to see it hit you like it hit me. I LOVE that damn song.
