Pre-Battle Round Up Pt 2

Comments

Coming back to this just to see your face at that "Your last shit was tragic" bar 🤣

MrDavis

yea that Cole diss was just projection lol cuz he borrowed from TPAB too.. and ppl always called Cole boring (im a cole hater personally but there have been “cole is boring” jokes going around forever) i didnt really mind the apology tho personally.. i think its admirable that Cole backed out when he realized he didnt really believe what he was saying

Tafari Johnson

Kendrick hopping on the most anticipated album of the year from Mr. Misogyny Future turned out to be kinda genius lol cuz that was the perfect way to capture the youngest audience possible and get their undivided attention for the battle. very calculated

I was so proud of you when you caught the final bars of Kenny’s “Like That” verse. Catching the references to “For All the Dogs” “K9s” and “Pet Sematary” (knew you’d catch that last one). Vambie catching rap bars now! I love this entire reaction and breakdown as always. You’re doing the best job anyone can ask for and we love being part of this community

MacD

I lover your reaction to j Cole diss because that’s how the world viewed it lol

Your reaction to the apology just let me know that Cole will definitely take your top spot if you ever get around to listening to his discography. I've always said that he's the voice of the deep thinker

I think I disagree with many opinions here saying you should listen to J. Cole's discography next. He's got some very strong albums but thematically may feel watered down after having listened to Kendrick's stuff. I still stand by listening to Tyler the Creator (starting with Flower Boy or Cherry Bomb) after because he's such a departure from the "hip hop purist". I believe he has a lot of depth to his songs that come from the emotion and heartbreak he's experienced, and sonically he's one of the most unique artists. It will be a good change of pace from Kendrick, and then you can circle back to J. Cole.

"just cause your healed doesn't mean you don't defend yourself" YES. People talk about the beed (jokingly albeit) as Kendrick putting his personal healing aside to beef, but i disagree. Like 50% of my therapy journey was about identifying and cutting out other people's bs as much as my own. Beef Kendrick is a healed man shutting down the passive aggressive bs from the last decade and reading people for filth.

Jared Murti

I think you need to listen to more Cole because this reaction was very bias but that's ok you're learning

Shiesty installer

“Money power respect” he said it on the “real” song on GKMC
