🪩All-Access Members Update -07/06/2025🪩
Added 2025-06-08 00:19:59 +0000 UTCHi Hello!
So, as you can probably tell, this is a bit of a differently formatted update than the ones in the past, but as you will hear, I thought listening would be better than reading a giant post lol.
One thing I forgot to mention in the voice memo was that I thought of a better way to handle the detailed breakdown pdf document I have located on the 🪩Vambie's Patreon Overview & FAQ🪩 post I have pinned to the top of my Patreon page. Instead of updating it and then having to re-upload it each time. I added an active link to view the document in real-time. The link is located on the overview, and I included it below. I'm going to try to update it once a week, if there is anything to update with that is :)
Vambie Reacts' Kendrick Lamar Journey
Feedback request based on the information in the voice memo:
1. Are you interested in testing the live stream with one of the videos I have in the "Battle Context Deep Dives" i.e., "What’s The Dirt- Drake Vs Kendrick Lamar - The 100% Full Story Explained.” or “I'm What the Culture Feeling." If you're interested, I'll set up a poll for everyone to vote on which one.
2. Do you have any feedback, questions, or concerns about any of the ideas I proposed?
3. Do you have any other suggestions for how we structure future content?
Upcoming Drop Schedule:
Sunday, June 8th = MM&TBS Live in Paris
Thursday, June 12th = Pre-Battle Round Up
Sunday, June 15th= Context Deep Dive Video One
Thursday, June 19th = Context Deep Dive Video Two
Sunday, June 22nd = Kendrick vs. Drake
Comments
First off, I want to say that I appreciate all your efforts and the respect you show to the content you are reviewing/ reacting to and I am a fan of your and the content you are making. Secondly, in my opinion, I think a live for reactions to interviews or other breakdown videos would be great (I will be joining the live on 6/13). As far as post Dot era content, Tyler, Franklin Ocean, J Cole all seem nice but I am here for the journey regardless of who is picked next.

2025-06-09 22:33:51 +0000 UTCI don't know if you've already said what your plans are regarding the Drake beef yet or not, but I definitely think you should watch The Pop Out concert between Not Like Us and moving on to GNX. Its such an incredible celebration and I think an essential part of the beef timeline. Also, if you do choose to continue doing the discography deep dives I think Mac Miller would really appeal to you. He covered an insane range of genres over the course of his career, and his growth as an artist was incredible to see. Of course, there are also classic artists like Outkast or The Roots that would be really interesting to see. And I've seen a lot of other great recommendations in the comments, too.

And there is definitely some merit to the notion that Kendrick is unique material to unpack. Also, you should check out the way VibeVilla structures their Patreon model. I think it would be a helpful model post Kendrick

2025-06-09 14:11:13 +0000 UTCNot sure if this has been expressed, but I think it's important for you to at least hear "Story of Adidon" by Pusha T (came out in 2018) before hearing the beef between Kendrick & Drake. It's a very pivotal moment in Hip Hop. It'll help contextualize a lot of Kendrick's messaging in his back & forth with Drake as well.

2025-06-08 04:28:08 +0000 UTCIf you are ever concerned about being "stuck" doing content you aren't feeling up to, I would 100% recommend simply making a post asking for a recommendation for something you would prefer with some more specific parameters. Up to now, I'd say your requests for feedback have been super open-ended, but you can feel free to get as specific as you want -- length of content, accessibility, tempo, sub-sub-sub-genre, etc. Having a Kendrick-heavy audience means (not to brag) you have an extremely savvy and knowledgeable group at your disposal. If any content you're doing is starting to wear on you, don't hesitate to ask for something else to take a break. We love giving recommendations! It's fun! Like, if you know some album is up next with heavy subject matter (like Mr. Morale), and you don't feel up to it in the moment, just jump on here and ask for something lighter. Or maybe if you know a longer video is coming up, and you'd rather do something shorter. Any criteria you want to give, I'm confident your audience can give you exactly what you're looking for. Albums, songs, music videos, video essays, etc.
