He actually went to Prince's house to talk and later record but during their convo, Prince invited Kendrick to come to an in-house concert involving his group Third Eye Girl that he was randomly having, Kendrick accepted the invitation, not knowing that Prince would also invite him ON STAGE TO PERFORM WITH HIM!
