Updates!
First off, and most importantly:
As you can see, SweetCanvas is real! It exists!
It has for a long while actually, in some form or another, but there were certain things that I didn't have figured out yet, and I also didn't want to give people the impression that the demo was coming soon when it wasn't.
The demo still isn't coming "soon," per se, but I hope to have everything polished and ready to present to the public by the end of the year, ideally. As was mentioned in the last update.
Secondly, and this is the most recent development and what I wanted to highlight in this video; characters have "voices" now!
Not actual voices of course, I do not have that kind of money (if you want to fully sponsor voice acting in SC, dm me or something), but they do have little animal crossing-esque noises that they make while speaking.
Although, keep in mind that literally nothing (except the backgrounds, those are unlikely to change very much, if at all) is final in this video, including the current voices, the script, the sprites, etc.
On top of that, I should note that the game allows you to change the volume of sound effects, voices and music, so you'll be able to adjust everything to your liking, even turning any of them completely off if you'd like to. What's shown here is just everything on max, which is why the music is kind of overpowering.
Besides that, there are also a few more mundane Io updates:

Io's Day 3, 4, 5, 6 and 6-2 outfits are rendered on her base sprite, seen above. Leaving only the Day 7, 7-2, 8, 9 and 9-2 outfits as works in progress, seen below.

I still need to do her alt sprites for all of these days of course, but having the base sprite rendered makes doing the alt sprite extremely easy, since I basically just color pick myself and autopilot.
But yeah, that's basically everything for now. Thanks for reading, as well as for your continued support, and I hope you guys have a great rest of your week!
