After the last animation of widowmaker, it has reach to the point to where I’m going to upgrade my pc. The quality of these animations may be good in its own right. However, I think the quality of how much I can put into the animations and the quality of life is restricted to the spec of my pc. Last time I checked how old my specs are, my cpu and my gpu are more than a half of decade old. It needs to change. Thankfully, my birthday is coming up. The birthday present I’m looking forward to get would hopefully run superior than my current pc.
Because I’m getting a new pc in a couple of weeks, I decided to halt publishing any future works until then, except WIP posts. I can still work on the animation part. However, I’m going to render my finished animations in the new pc. This is because my specs are so old that rendering longer animations in 1080p and in 128 samples is extremely time consuming. That has to change.
So what does that mean for the $300 patreon goal. Is it pointless now that you’re about to get high-end pc? Obviously no. Even if I’m going to get a new pc, there are a couple of parts is missing i.e an additional 8gb memory ram. I’ll get the remaining parts one day.
To give you a tldr, I’m getting a new pc. New works will not be published until I get it.
