Nightly Routine (Hi-Res)

A piece for Draganta! Forming the night sky every evening is a breeze when it's such a joy to do.   

Another comfort zone piece for me. c: Big men taking up most of the  space of the canvas, a bit of sky, some color splashing around... Very  relaxing time. And a big thank you to Draganta for letting me kind of  have at it with his wonderful guy! Love this big dragon man.

Struggling at the moment, I won't lie here in the hi-res tier. Money has been tight and stress has been high. Work has been slower than I'd like, and with missing Midwest Furfest (and selling at it, even if I did go) happening right now, and knowing the waitlist is getting small and I gotta open for some work again soon... Guh. Brain's wheels are spinning.

I'm very proud of this piece, and Draganta is a saint for letting me have a bit of freedom just to appreciate his character and paint him up. I know the pose is a bit similar to a previous one but it felt very fitting for the concept of forming the night sky., I think for the new year, that needs to be one of my goals, working on varying up my posing and compositions, though. I've been told I'm getting very same-y with 3/4ths views, raised arms, etc.. So. I gotta do better.

Rebelle 7 is also launching in about two weeks and I definitely want to spend some time playing around in there. I grabbed their very generous 80% pre-order deal they had going on. I figure since it's for business, I could spare the little bit of money!

Otherwise... I'm not sure what to say! This one's very comfort zoned. You all know I love my big men paintings, and this one's no different. Was very relaxing to go into and render out, play with some color, etc.. Big thank you to Jonathan Vair for some help with critique -- those little changes helped a lot, I think!

I'm still plinking away at the Kobold Monk. Did some color adjustments. He needs some repainting in spots.

Going to try to get back into doing the sketch streams starting this Sunday, so if you're seeing this, this is your heads-up that that's happening! I will likely give them some sort of sizeable discount since its been a bit since I've done them, but need to get back into that habit. Otherwise, I'm attempting to stream at least once a week currently on Tuesdays to try to fight this anxiety I've been having. You'll find me over on Twitch.tv/deriazironfist for those.
