A painting for Jraintheleviathan. A cresting wave is good for both surfing, and for making yourself look even more dramatic.
This one was a challenge and a half! Not in the artistic sense, but had a lot of computer trouble while I was working through it, including some happening that caused me to lose some progress. So took me a bit longer than I would have liked. When Jrain approached me with this idea, I absolutely had to get on board. Leviathan dragon? Ocean? Dragon? Clouds? Dragon? Wings and scales? Dragon? Yeah, no, I want to paint him. It helps that Jrain is a saint and a good friend as well, of course, but ahhh, I love his guy so much. ; ;
Thank you so much, Jrain, for letting me work with you again!! And I hope everyone enjoys. c:

Oh my gosh.
Lost half my RAM. Lost a hard drive (just my games one, thankfully). Had to change my CPU cooler and entirely re-seat my CPU. Lost a light. Lost another fan... And then -nearly lost this entire canvas near the end-. Thank goodness for automatic backup saves, man.
I think the main issue is the slots on my motherboard? We tried switching sticks to stop my computer from randomly freezing and crashing. But unfortunately, it didn't seem to stop until we entirely removed two of the four sticks. It may have just been a timing issue, or maybe the sticks themselves, but all I know is that it seems to be running just fine now that I am down to two sticks of RAM. Thankfully, Corel Painter is a very CPU-intensive program, so my performance isn't hit too, too much.
So things have been stressful, to say the least. But this is the last of my projects currently in my queue, officially. The next thing I'm going to post here on Patreon shortly is my commission sheet -- if you don't know how to reach out to me directly, you can also message me here if you are interested in any work. Because I'm a bit anxious about doing a full opening, I'm keeping it to mostly my circle of friends and clients here on Patreon and in Discord/Telegram (or for the few here that are old high school friends, hi hello yes you also count, obviously. love you guys <3). Money can always be exchanged for goods and services, so I am always hunting around for new work, likely a few projects at a time for the forseeable future.
I don't have too much directly to say here on Jrain's piece, though. I've just been keeping my head down, plugging away at this amongst computer problems, while Goolashe has been hunting for jobs or opportunities (which he may have a super good one coming tomorrow, fingers crossed). I'm sorry the month has been a touch quieter than I would have liked -- the shutdowns and restarts at almost random, indeterminate times was making progress of any kind incredibly difficult for me to manage. Nevermind trying to stream if my computer might turn off at random, or if anxiety was high. :< I'm hoping we have this all sorted now, though.
Thank you guys, as always, for your love and support. You'll see another post from me shortly with that commission sheet I promised!
