A character piece for Gylph of FA! If you think the greataxe bending is impressive, wait until he hits you with the flames.

Big  purple boi. I love him. Gylph provided a nice sketch that made laying  out this pose much, much easier and let me jump into blocking in  quicker. I stumbled a little bit during some of the rendering, and there  are some tangents I couldn't fix very the best since they were  discovered so late, but I'm still very proud of this one. c: That seems  to be a running theme with this commission queue, actually -- things are  clicking nicely, and moving along pretty smoothly!

This past week has been all over the place. I'm actually kind of surprised I was able to finish this at this level of quality in that span of time. I can't really get into the details of it here, but suffice to say, I have my hands on the wheel and I'm trying my best to keep the car on the road!

It's been a bit since I streamed, as well, for those here who know I do it and peek in from time to time. We haven't yet gotten our bedroom fixed up -- they had to schedule us in April, sadly -- so while waiting to hear about when that would happen, I sort of... Fell off the habit again. Whoops. I'll try and do that more with the upcoming pieces for Cedi and Rimentus. I think I got a bit demoralized when I tried adding game streams into the mix. Fun from time to time, but man, maybe not "the new hotness" for Twitch in hindsight. Leads to feeling down on myself, aha.

Anyways, another one down! Two more invoiced to go, and then still have a fair waitlist ahead of me. Fingers are crossed I can finish the portrait here within the weekend. We'll see how it goes! The prompt makes it sound like a bit of a challenge, but we'll see. Other than that... Hmm... Yeah, there's not a lot to say this time around. I've been posting quite a bit this month here, so I suppose not enough has happened to really speak on! Only other thing I can think of is that seeing not one, but two conventions going on at once has made me really miss them. I miss holding a table and selling stuff in person, or just being able to relax for a bit and see friends. The next con I'm able to go to, man... I'm probably gonna bawl seeing people in person, aha.

Please stay safe out there. I know that those in charge are seeming to give up on Covid and such, but don't stop keeping yourself and others safe.
