Went and visited some friends this past week up in Maryland. While there, lots of sleeping was had... Minus me, sometimes. So I doodled a bit while people were asleep, or while things were being deliberated on what to do next between board games and other things.

HB graphite on traditional. I forgot how nice traditional pencil and paper is. Very zen, very relaxing. I've gotten a little weak in some parts from lack of practice, particularly in hitting the darker values in spots, but ah well. Still really proud of this. c: Hi-res is for everyone since it was something I was doing while on vacation.

It's been a bumpy past month or so. We still don't have our normal bedroom back, and we discovered another pipe that was leaking in the area. Glad to catch it before it became disastrous later, but just bummed to still be on a tiny desk in a less private spot. I am back home and pretty situated -- I should be able to dive back into work in full starting tomorrow! I have a painting that feels nearly complete, and the front of a design in the works. Otherwise, lots to do, and feeling a bit urgent that it needs to get done sooner rather than later.
