Age of Spellfire Cover
Added 2024-08-05 18:44:05 +0000 UTCHey, guys! So as I've mentioned before, among the new projects I have planned for 2025 (after finishing TLF and Dragon Sov) are a new Lost Fleet spinoff and some 'Age of Spellfire' RIvenmire novels.
Many ideas are still in progress, but among them is "Spellfire Thief," featuring a rogue MC, train heists, and other fun stuff while I develop that era of the universe. Have some fun ideas for members of the "Caper Crew" I'll reveal later.
Anyway, here's a cover contender. What's more magical, the spellfire rifle or the fabric of her uniform? :P

Fair enough. I’m a sucker for “Powder Fantasy”, so it’ll be interesting to see a haremified version of that. Looking forward to the book!

2024-08-07 12:36:11 +0000 UTCmain thing with the guns is using magic instead of "gunpowder," but there's some other stuff that will be explored in a new series. Also, dwarves do use regular gunpowder!

2024-08-06 02:31:05 +0000 UTCHonestly think the rifle looks too much like our world’s, depending on how you want the “spell fire” to work. Make it out of the bones of magical creatures or obviously fire magical energy IMO.
