The Ranger-General's Submission II, Chapter 1 Preview
Added 2018-05-26 20:01:14 +0000 UTCHey, guys. As promised, here's the first draft preview from the new book. It's a long chapter - 7k words - and I tried to include a little bit of everything.
The story takes place a few days after Legacy of Winter but before Wrath of the Inquisitrix (TAP 5 and 6, respectively). The Roskarim were repelled at Icewatch, but Jorem/Kaseya/Valuri are all gone and Serrane is convinced the barbarians will be back.
I started writing this one with the assumption of a capture fantasy, but I didn't feel like it was clicking the way I wanted it to. I decided to shift towards an "action romance" instead, and I think it will work better. I've had several people ask me about the knight she shagged in the first one, so this seemed like a logical place to go!
Reinbach should be starting on the new cover this weekend! No ETA just yet, but as a bonus I'll send out the original (revised) RGS to $2+ folks next month along with the new one.

For the record, the first one doesn't have that either. She basically just disguises herself as someone else so she can have slutty adventures without compromising her authority/job. This one will be more "figure out how to be yourself." The whole getting captured thing seemed like a good idea at the time but really didn't work. That or I have just lost my ability to write such things. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

2018-05-26 20:14:34 +0000 UTCWhew. I admit, I didn't really read the first one because it seemed outside my strike zone, but I liked her in *The Amazon's Pledge*, and I didn't really want there to be a canon story where she gets overrun and horribly gang-raped by evil barbarians.
