Hello!

Just checking in to say that with holiday craziness approaching, I probably won't post much this month. I am busy working on TAP 6 and the short Valuri prequel.

I'm still plotting out potential future projects for next year. Here's some really rough ideas.

"The Ancient Empire"

The standard trope is that the present is a pale shadow of some glorious ancient empire in the past. I've thought about doing another series set in the heyday of that empire. If you are familiar with the Crown Wars from the Forgotten Realms, the idea is that elven kingdoms more or less ruled the entire world until the original split between the highborne and dark elves. This book would be set during a similar conflict, with the main character being an unwanted hybrid between the two (apparently I like half-breeds a lot).

"Space Opera"

I've considered delving into space opera for a change, but I'm not sure if that would split my audience. Would people be interested in sex in space? :P

Dragon Bride

The first book ended on a cliffhangar and I should really continue it at some point. Sales have been a lot better as residuals from the TAP books. I still like a lot of the ideas I developed for this!
