I’ve been working two days on this rug, and I have been using monk fabric to make the dang thing, but monks fabric is so stiff and it slowly stretches so by leaving it on my frame holding it, it’s slowly lost it’s elasticity which made the rug droop. I’ve come to learn that I need to be way more slow and have to do this in one day for it to cry with adhesive overnight. In order to avoid the tearing. I add multiple patches to help save the integrity of the rug, but it was no use. In one spot it unraveled then another, then another.
I’m really pissed that my hard work went to waste, but that little wench really likes it. Maybe I’ll just add the adhesive on the back and give it to him.
