At the end in the piazza Winston quietly shows just how much power he has... The Only reason John is not dead, is because Winston "Deemed it not to be..." Winston also gave John a Marker.... ( remember the rules for those, they will be important later on...) This is one of those very rare film series where they just get better and better.....
