The Resort, Chapter 9

Unsure of how long they would be gone, Brooke made sure that they were both changed into fresh diapers under their leisure workout clothes. She wore a purple tank top, a black sports bra, and a pair of stretchy black shorts over her diaper. Jenna had donned a white T-shirt and blue jean shorts, though it had taken her significant effort to get them pulled up over on top of her thick diaper. They hadn’t planned for bulky undies, after all.

Because of her recent leaking, Jenna decided to wear a nighttime diaper, hoping that she wouldn’t have to worry about leaking for at least a while. Two leaks in less than a day would make anyone feel uncertain about their level of protection, but nevertheless, Brooke still packed a couple of spare diapers for each of them in her backpack along with a couple bottles of water.

“So… where do you want to go?” Brooke asked as they walked out the same doors that led to their hammock from last night. She took a deep breath and closed her eyes, breathing in the scent of the flowers. This time she smelled a hint of pine, no doubt from all the surrounding trees. When she opened them again, she looked down, spotting the dirt path that they had scrambled up last night. Brooke grinned as she remembered how silly she felt trying to escape a creature that they couldn’t see. The path led deeper into the woods, so with an excited grin, she said, “Guess we only have one choice.”

“Yeah, sure looks like it. Ready?” Jenna held out her hand and waited until Brooke latched onto it.

“Sure am!” Brooke walked forward, her gait altered by the thick padding taped snugly between her legs. Jenna’s pace was a little faster than the leisurely speed that she had hoped for, and before even a minute had passed, a rock caught her left foot and threw her off balance, nearly making her fall over. She felt a little pee trickle from her slit as she momentarily lost control of her bladder, though part of her was unsure if she had been holding her bladder at all. She stopped, her arm stretching out for a couple of seconds as Jenna kept walking forward, oblivious to her almost falling flat on her face.

“You okay?” Jenna asked as she stopped, looking over her shoulder.

“Yeah. Can we slow down a bit? I’m still getting used to walking with this diaper,” she said. “It’s kinda hard to walk normally.”

“What, is your diaper getting thick already?” Jenna asked. “It hasn’t even been fifteen minutes since we changed into them.”

“Nah, not yet, but I suppose it’s only a matter of time, right?” Brooke adjusted her backpack’s fit to be a little more comfortable, then grabbed Jenna’s hand again. At a slower pace, they only made it a few hundred more feet before her legs started to ache. “You know what?” She stopped and let go of Jenna’s hand. “My legs are feeling a little sore. I think it’s from the diaper pushing them apart.”

“You too?” Jenna visibly relaxed. “I didn’t want to be the one to say something first,” she said with a laugh. She propped herself against a tree for a few seconds before sitting down, plopping down on her padded rear end. “Oh… that feels good,” she said with a casual giggle, though she paused a second later. “Hey, you hear that?”

Brooke listened for a few seconds. “No, what?” Jenna held out her arms and wiggled her fingers at her, silently asking for her to help her up.

“That!” Jenna grabbed Brooke’s hands and pulled herself up. “You don’t hear that? Sounds like running water. Maybe a little river?” She looked deeper into the forest, trying to peer past all the trees. “Come on, let’s go investigate!” she said, bravely pushing off the path.

Brooke shrugged and followed her. “Well, I suppose they said nothing about staying on the path when we left,” she said. “Just be careful.” Jenna walked twice as fast as her, eventually leaving her behind. “Hey, wait up!” she called out, unable to see her friend. Half a minute passed as her pace quickened. “Where the heck did she go?” she muttered to herself as a river came into view, the sounds of running water making her bladder feel fuller than it just had moments ago. “She couldn’t have gotten that far.” Brooke took a deep breath and sighed.

“Boo!” Jenna leapt out from behind a tree, her arms spread wide.

“Eek!” Brooke’s eyes went wide as her heart skipped a couple of beats. She felt the inside of her diaper grow warm as her bladder released on its own, emptying its contents before Brooke could comprehend what had just happened. “J-Jenna! Why would you scare me half to death like that?” she demanded, stomping the ground once with her right foot as she balled her fists. “You know I don’t like being scared! Ugh!” She stormed past her onto the riverbank. “And you made me wet myself!”

Jenna snickered as she followed her. “Good thing you’re wearing a diaper.”

“Yeah, but that’s not the point.” Brooke stopped and turned around, letting her backpack fall to the ground. She sat down upon a large boulder nearby and crossed her arms, looking anywhere but at Jenna. She hated giving her the silent treatment, but she wanted to show her just how upset she was without getting into a screaming match in the middle of their vacation. Such a thing would surely put a damper on her plans for professing her desire for more than just being best friends.

Jenna sat down beside her. “Look, I’m sorry. I know how much you hate being scared, but I thought me looking all silly with a stupid face would make you laugh, not pee yourself.” When Brooke stayed silent, she scootched up against her and lay her head on her shoulder. “I’m sorry I upset you,” she said in a softer tone of voice, her words fading away into the noise of the river.

Brooke felt a pang of guilt form in her tummy. “Thank you for apologizing,” she said. “When you disappeared, I felt all alone in this unfamiliar place. These woods are a little scary, after all. Remember the wolves last night?” She felt Jenna nod.

“Yeah, and I remember the meeses, too,” Jenna said with a light-hearted laugh. She lifted her head from Brooke’s shoulder and threaded her fingers through her hand, gripping it. “Can you forgive me? I honestly and truly only meant to make you laugh.”

Brooke sighed. “Yeah, I forgive you,” she said with a nervous grin. “You did look pretty silly.”

“Yeah? What made me look silly? This thick diaper bulging in my shorts or me sticking out my tongue with crossed eyes?” Jenna nudged her side, her movements making her diaper crinkle.

“Both,” she said as she nudged her back. Brooke was relieved that their little spat had no lasting effect, so with a relaxed sigh, she lay back and spread her arms above her head. The bottom of her tank top slipped up, revealing the top part of her diaper. She cared not one bit, though, for there was nobody else around them, save for the birds and the bees. The lack of other people, especially the paparazzi, made her feel like she could relax and be herself without fearing the awful sounds of those dreaded shutterbugs. Brooke felt the smallest amount of pee in her bladder asking to be let out, so without a second thought, she let her bladder relax. She wiggled her hips left and right as her pee tickled her on the way out.

“Hey, so… back in our room, I mentioned that there was something that I wanted to talk to you about. Remember?” Brooke asked, feeling Jenna tense up beside her. She felt her throat seize up as she struggled to find the words that she wanted to say. “Why I bought us a great vacation?”

“Yeah?” Jenna sat back up and looked at her. “Well… I think I know why you took me out here.”

Brooke’s mouth felt as dry as the desert. “Y-You do?” she stammered out.

“Yeah.” Jenna crossed her legs. “You know I broke up with Johnny about a month ago, right?”

Brooke nodded. “Yeah, I saw it online. I hated how our friend group was divided between you, too, so I wanted to get you away from all that nonsense. I know how upsetting it can be going through a breakup.”

“I-I just don’t want to feel lonely, you know?” Jenna choked out. “Our relationship had gotten strained because, well…” She looked up into Brooke’s eyes, getting all serious. “Swear to me you’ll never repeat this to anyone, no matter what,” she said.

“Of course, I swear. What is it?” Brooke asked, puzzled.

“It’s not really that big of a deal, but you know how some of our friends can be a little… closed minded?” she asked. “All he wanted from me was sex, sex, sex, and I think he used me to build up clout, too, so… even though I put in a lot of effort into our relationship, it always felt like it was a one-sided thing where he got all the perks of being in a relationship and I got… nothing. Oh, and he never made me cum, either. Literally only wanted to satisfy his own needs first, and he never wanted to do any foreplay. Like, come on! A girl’s got needs!” she said, exasperated. “And because of all that, I don’t know if I’m attracted to guys anymore! Is that weird?” she asked, looking up at her for reassurement. “That’s not weird, is it?”

Brooke pulled her friend into a hug, feeling Jenna lay her head on her shoulder again. “Hey, it’s okay,” she whispered. “And no, it’s not weird at all. I’m not attracted to men, either,” she said without thinking. Her eyes went wide as she realized what she said.

“You’re not?” came Jenna’s hopeful reply.

Brooke’s heart felt like it was speeding a mile a minute in her chest. “...No.” She let go of her friend and clasped her hands in front of her.

“D-Do you have a crush on anyone in particular?” Jenna asked.

“Oh yeah, I sure do,” Brooke said with a nervous laugh. “Only one, though…”

“Just one? Anyone in our friend group?” she asked, her voice filled with curiosity and a tinge of hopefulness.

Brooke nodded, her mouth feeling so dry she could say nothing at that moment.

“Do they know you have a crush on them?” she asked, smiling widely.

Brooke glanced down into Jenna’s eyes. “I… I hope they do,” she said. Feeling like this would be the best chance in a while to profess her love for her, she drummed up what little courage she could. “But I don’t know if they’re into me, so…” she trailed off, the river distracting her from saying what her heart screamed at her to say.

“So… you were just not gonna say anything in case they rebuke you? Because you’re scared?”

Brooke nodded again.

“Well, are they special to you?”

“More than you could ever know.”

“Then that settles it!” Jenna stood up, hopped off the rock, then placed her hands on her hips as she looked back up at her with an excited grin. “Who is it?”

Brooke felt a million butterflies flit around in her stomach. “Uh… remember how you said this felt romantic on our first night here?” With her secret basically out in the open, she felt confident enough to throw on a genuine smile, praying for the best.

“Yeah? So? I…” she trailed off, losing herself in her thoughts.

Brooke hopped off the rock, brushed some stray hairs out of her face, then grabbed both of Jenna’s hands. As her friend lifted her head, Brooke pulled her in and up against her, gently placing her lips on her friend’s.

This was the moment that she’d fantasized about for a long time, though she would have never guessed in a million years that their first kiss would be shared in wet diapers. Something so trivial had brought them closer to each other than anything ever before, and combined with their mutual and gradual loss of control over their bladders in paradise, wearing them felt right, almost as if it was something normal.

The feeling of Jenna’s soft lips upon her own, the smell of the light flowery perfume she always wore, and the feeling of the wind gently blowing their hair all together immortalized this moment in her memory, for in this split-second, Brooke had done what her heart had yearned for all along. Knowing that the moment had to end eventually, she ended the kiss and gazed into her eyes. “It’s you,” Brooke said with a smile.

“R-Really?” Jenna took a step back. “I mean, I had a feeling, but… wow. I didn’t think you’d just come out like that and say it!” She turned around, a shocked look on her face. “Are you serious?” she asked, half turning back around, a vulnerable look in her eyes. “I know I just scared you a few minutes ago, so… I don’t know if you’re messing with me to get back at me. Are you? Cuz this isn’t something you mess around with.”

“No,” Brooke said with a reassuring grin. “I am most certainly not.” She held out her arms, silently asking for a hug. “I think we’d look great together.”

Jenna looked her up and down, then darted forward into her waiting embrace. “I think we’d be great together,” Jenna spoke into Brooke’s shoulder as she squeezed her hard.

Brooke squeezed her back, elated that her worry had all been for naught. With a sly grin, she let herself fall back against the rock and rolled over so that she was on top of Jenna. Brushing her friend’s hair aside, Brooke leaned in and stole another kiss from Jenna’s lips, this time much deeper than the last. Brooke pushed herself back up, a tiny sliver of saliva connecting their lips for a moment.
