September fanfic poll (and other news) - fixed

Since the next fanfic voted for by our top tier on Discord turned out to be from Zenless Zone Zero, what victim do you want for the next fanfic?

(btw I deleted this poll and made it again because the options were incorrect. If you want to vote for the protagonist/victim of the fanfic, you can do so in #polls on my Discord server.)

btw I'm going to unpin the august schedule and pin this, so here it is in the schedule.

Other news and comments:

Hello, once again I would like to apologize for some slight delays (mainly that Tuesday's page was not published, which I published on Wednesday along with Wednesday's page). This is because I am working on a daily basis (editing and publishing the page that is due to be published that day instead of scheduling it well in advance), and everything gets complicated when there are some unexpected events in daily life and a queue of pending tasks that I have had since I started writing novels again for some comics. I don't really want to go into too much detail about that (I already went into detail about it in #general-eng on our Discord server, as well as pinning a list of pending tasks that I have to finish every day so you can see if you're interested, because maybe for you, clicking a button and paying is all you need to do to appreciate our art and see a daily comic page from Monday to Friday, which is greatly appreciated, of course, but in the meantime, there are several steps and tasks behind that and some creative process to create each page), but we're working again on getting the content done and scheduled a month in advance as much as possible (I don't know if I'll be able to do it this week, but I hope so, that's the idea).

Something I would like to mention in a friendly way is to ask for your understanding and patience in this regard. Normally, when situations like this arise and I don't publish one day, I usually publish the next day or move the publication days to the weekend (we don't normally publish on Saturdays and Sundays, but if there is a delay, we usually publish on those days if necessary, always within the week). If I don't publish one day, it doesn't mean that “I'm gone and never coming back,” or that these situations will always happen. That's absurd. You can check all the content we've published every week over the last five years to see our commitment. Also, consider that very few projects publish with such loyalty to their audience, with such frequency and for such a long time. However, the effects of not publishing one day during the week are very visible (between five and ten people may unsubscribe). in this case, in the last five days, 15 people have unsubscribed, I suppose that's why, since people subscribing and unsubscribing is normal, but it's something that happens little by little, whereas if I don't publish for one day and in that lapse between Sunday and Thursday 15 people leave, it seems like an overreaction to the situation. So if that's the reason, I would appreciate it if you would reconsider. It's obvious that your subscription is voluntary (in exchange for viewing the content) and you can come back or leave whenever you want, but there will always be that doubt as to whether that number of people unsubscribed for that specific reason (and added to that, I've started writing again and all the work I have to do every day makes me feel like I'm putting in more effort to receive less, and the equivalent money that would not be received is two weeks less of food :| ), so I just hope to be able to edit and schedule all that content in advance to avoid situations like this again and, of course, also offer to reconsider your decision (if you unsubscribed because of that). I mean, it might not really matter to you (most of you, our subscribers, don't react or get very involved, you just pay to watch, and when you get what you want, sometimes you leave, sometimes you stay, and sometimes you come back, so it's sometimes hard to know what you want, you might not even be reading this because of tl:dr), but maybe some of you are interested in knowing more about these issues (there's always our Discord server if you want to have closer contact with our art).

I also thought (because I overthink everything due to my ADHD, years into the future and all the possibilities, and every subscription I lose makes me think about why it could have been or what I did wrong, even worse if it's 15 fewer subscriptions) that maybe by letting you know that someone already bought the $3,600 x 180 drawings commitment, you might think, “Oh, then he doesn't need my contribution anymore.” But that extra money is for extra expenses (like the electricity bill) that I was already having trouble paying even with my usual income of $1,000. If the value of the dollar is unstable and income drops because of subscriptions, then I can't take from that $3,600 without risking cutting back on other critical things (plus I would be receiving the payment every month until January, so I don't have the entire amount available), but it would also hurt my monthly and daily personal finances (which, in order not to compromise critical expenses such as rent, paying debts, and my taxes, I would probably decide to cushion by reducing my food expenses, even if I have to eat nothing but sunflower seeds :|).

Something else I thought about is that maybe some people were only coming for the gacha game content (Genshin, Honkai, ZZZ, WuWa, and some others I don't know about) and since it's no longer on the schedule (because the community member who commissioned it hasn't commissioned anything in recent months), maybe some people left because of that. But I decided to put those four games on the fanfic voting list so that, if that's what's decided, at least there will be something like that every two months, plus there's a commission that will probably be about that in October, and that member will return to commission on a recurring basis every two months (at which point it will no longer be put up for vote to allow other things to be voted on) starting in March of next year and then every month starting in October, so that content is guaranteed in the long term.

Now, finally, I think I will open additional commissions to what has already been set between February and June (5 pages in February, 5 pages in March, 10 pages in April, 5 pages in May, and 5 pages in June), which were originally intended for original content or fanfics. I don't want to do it, but given the situation and also to have something extra in addition to what has already been achieved (and also because my birthday is coming up soon), it might be the best thing to do. It really affects me the most, as I would be giving up on creating original content for 6 whole months (I don't think it will affect the fanfics that much, as most of the commissions are practically fanfics), but hey, no one is going to give me an extra $900 for free :|, so I'll get it by opening more commissions (however, these will be the last ones I will open for commissions in 2026, so hurry up if you don't want to miss the opportunity to commission next year.

Thanks for reading.

Unfortunately last month I missed my subscription due to zero money in the account at the time, I apologise for that. But I'm back and will continue to be a loyal customer for the foreseeable that I have money in the account. Your content is amazing and I will never have a problem with delays or anything like that. We all have our own struggles, and as long as we keep up the self care we can get through it! I'm glad to be here and continue to see your beautiful content <3
