2024-11-16 18:54:17 +0000 UTCAn excellent sci-fi movie, certainly, but I always thought that the final shot could have been better. The Statue of Liberty is weather-beaten, but it's completely upright. If a nuclear blast knocked the statue off its pedestal, I would think it would be much more tilted in one direction or another, or maybe even horizontal. Seeing it upright just made me think, "How did New York Harbor get so much sand?"
