2026-01-26 03:35:07 +0000 UTCafter watching it a second time i give the pilot a 9/10. i was skeptical but idk the characterization of both dunk and egg are kinda perfect they are both so honest and innocent and can learn a lot from each other, also it feels goofy but not in a bad way its very natural. i think short season short episodes is a really smart choice and the show prolly wont miss a beat ill bet the pacing is great. i got high hopes

2026-01-20 20:43:40 +0000 UTCI'm giving it a 7/10. I haven't read the books so I'm not sure where they are taking liberties, but it doesn't quite feel like a GoT show to me. I really like some of the shots and most of the music is good. I like Dunk's character so far too. I wasn't a fan of tent scene though - it felt out of place in the GoT world to me. Some of the comedy didn't land for me either. For instance, it felt like they were trying to hard when the game's master was jokingly threatening Dunk about his knighthood. I am intrigued though and would like to see where it goes.
