Having watched this series way too many times, I interpret her wearing makeup in two ways - 1st, she finally has hope that she can move beyond her situation and be the woman she wants to be, not the one her husband forces her to be. 2nd, she is making it obvious around the neighborhood that something about her husband has changed and she is happy about it which both raises suspicions about what he may be doing and gives her cover if anything happens to him.

Oops, I forgot to mention one of my goats and favorite characters, Hyeon-nam aka Mrs. Kang aka Auntie haha It made me happy to see her smile and put makeup on for herself just because she wanted to and not because she was forced. Or maybe it was for her rat of a husband, I don't know. But at least it seemed like she was at peace for a little bit. She deserves much more of it. I still feel sad that Sun-ra had to leave her Mom but I know it was for the best. And they will be reunited soon, hopefully once things settle down and everything is finished. They have to put out the firr first. But when Hyeon-nam is happy, it makes me happy. I want all the happiness and good fortune for her. She and Sun-ra have endured so much trauma and hell in their life more than one should. Also when she was snacking and reading the article of Yeon-jin's downfall, it made me shout out with glee. Yes victory!!! It was so cute when she laughed and gave a big grin. Oh Yeon-jin, you thought she was on your side, nope think again. Our Auntie would never stoop to your level. She has more sense than than that and is thankfully, a good person and is much smarter than you give her credit for. Love her a lot!! Can't wait until her husband is completely out of the picture. Anyways, I'm psyched for episode 14 on Thursday!! The suspense is growing and more things are being revealed... The plot is so strong with this show!

The impressions of the mom are KILLING me lol,, I think even if you lined up every individual thing the Yeonjin has done and compared it to dongeun’s mom, Mom would still come out on top as the worst. Not because objectively her list is worse, but because a parent’s loyalties should be with their child, especially when that child is being mistreated and abused as badly as Dongeun! Yeonjin had no reason to mistreat Dongeun, and neither did anyone else, but Mihui (idk how to spell the moms name in romanization) had EVERY reason to protect her: she was her daughter, she was a good kid, and she had done no wrong. This actress and this series did such a great job portraying parental betrayal, and the lack of regret along with it.

With Yeojeong's character, it's entirely fair to have different opinions on revenge and it's fun to hear/see discussion about it. Sorry Carter, I can't even count the amount of times I watched the last scene. The mom may be demon incarnate but the acting with Dongeun is just so🤌🤌 The way she's laughing but also crying is SOOOOO good. It's probably such a mix of emotions finally getting justice, but it's bittersweet cause this is HER MOM. The cast is so goated😭

Yeo-jeong's drip is one of my favorites in the show. It's so cozy and looks very comfy. And it's cute how he and Dong-eun are growing closer the more time they spend with each other and get to know one another. They're good at reading the other without even a single word to be said. He and her can just read each other's body movements. It's so sweet how caring and gentle he is with her because he knows it's a fraglice space he's entering. Therefore, he's treading lightly and not forcing her to open up to him and instead waiting until she comes to him. He's the perfect knight, swordsman, prince, and stress relief to come home to. Goodness, his house is so cozy, warm, and inviting especially with the little tent he made for our girl to stay when she needs comfort and alone time with her thoughts. Also, I almost forgot that scene with him and Do-yeong at the park playing Go. It was fun to see a little mutual understanding between the two and maybe a little friendship forming too possibly. It's great how they both care for Dong-eun but in different ways. Yeo-jeong understands her heart and all the pain she's endured and held on to since she was kid. And Do-yeong only can see what's on the surface but still wishes her the best. Ultimately, they both want her to be happy and find peace through all her trauma and misfortune.

I loved all of Yeo-jeong's scenes this episode! His conversation with Mr. Ha about victims reclaiming their own glory & honor. Yeo-jeong understands Moon on a deeper level. I love seeing Yeon-jin and her Mom completely losing it. The power and control they've been so accustom to all their life is starting to vanish. Yeon-jin not taking responsibility for her actions is typical. She tries to play the victim and treat everyone like a fool. She doesn't think she did anything wrong. That's the problem. She sees pleasure in bringing pain to others. Now people are on to her game. The evidence of all her evil deeds are now being revealed one by one thanks to clever, Dong-eun, Hyeon-nam, and Yeo-jeong. Yeon-jin can't hide it anymore or sweep it under the rug as of it nothing happened. She has to own up to her past actions and sins. That being said, she's too selfish to do any of that. But still, it's nice to see her Mom hitting her breaking point. Haha That's what you both get for treating people like they are easily disposable and not actual human-beings with feelings and a mind of their own. They bullied and manipulated others for so long. All the people in their lives were only tools to help them get ahead. Blackmail has never been so sweet. Ugh, I strongly dislike her mother but am also still disgusted with Hyeon-nam's rat husband. He's a new level of scum. And it is kind of funny how Yeonjin and her mother sort of resemble each other with certain facial expressions when they're in shambles. Their tower is starting to collapse. You can only screw people over so many times before it eventually backfires and you're left to pay the piper.
