They don't really care about what happens beyond obtaining the right to exercise their powers, from what we've seen so far. It's far more likely that their organisation is completely confident in their meta powers, and believe that they'll reign at the top of the society they want to create because they've been preparing for it for generations. In that case, the rise of another villain group aka the League of Villains, who is somewhat of a wildcard in the realm of villainy as far as "organised villainy" goes, would prove to be a bit of an obstacle, or more accurately put: a rival in their conquest to rule over a liberated superhuman society. They can't have this rookie villain group that just wants to destroy the planet run amok and ruin the plans they've been making since the death of their first leader. In any case, the first leader of the army was Destro (the ideology of the Meta Liberation Army is explained in S4 when Gentle was talking about his younger self searching for ways to leave his mark on history, even if he had to turn to villainy), and it's normal to forget about them until Hawks introduced their book to our main cast + Endeavour in S5 Ep 14-16. S5 is very much a set up season, though not the best in the industry as far as set up seasons go. Nevertheless, the way it builds tension, foreshadows future events, recalls details from two seasons ago and connects it all back to the present timeline WHILE maintaining an air of anxiety for what's to come and mystery at what's about to unfold – it all makes for a more than decent prelude to the absolute shitshow that's being hinted at. If your expectations of S6 are anything similar to the amount of praise its getting from the fans, you guys are gonna have a fun time with it HAHA!

The ordering makes since as shown in the anime, it’s just that instead of the scenes being shown as if their in real time, they’re flashbacks, so I guess that makes it hard to follow for some people but it’s really not an issue, at least for me. Just pay attention, I guess?

2025-08-26 09:16:50 +0000 UTCThe mangaka (Horikoshi) said that drawing hands was one of his weak points early on, but then he practiced so much that eventually he became one of the best at drawing them. That's why you'll see alot of panels and shots constantly focused on them and not to mention his logo/avatar is a weird hand monster that constantly evolves in every volume where he puts his author notes! Shigaraki's whole costume being hands is another example however he has implied some annoyance towards it. Since he loves drawing hands now, one of his pet peeves would be drawing hands that lack expressiveness because it removes a significant tool for storytelling.

I was extremely confused if Vigilantes was canon or loosely canon (like movie 2) until this moment. It's a shame Vigilantes just got an adaptation this year. The story arcs in that spin off are great.
