For anyone it concerns, Ado(singing voice of Uta) did a full faithful cover of Bink’s sake. I think it was a bonus thing she did during the time of film red. Definitely recommend you listen to it if your a fan and even to those who aren’t should listen, Ado is probably the biggest singing artist in japan, she has an awesome voice and her cover of Bink’s sake is great.

i think its easy to feel reactors fatigue that spreads to the viewer when watching sometimes, and it feels even easier for reactors to grow more fatigued while watching slower paced sections of a show because they generally cant really binge things in the same way people might otherwise 🤧

As the crew has left and it's just Yorkie and Brook there, where no tough façade needs to be put up anymore, "I'm filled with regret" is a line that's always stuck with me. To me, that simple line is maybe one of the saddest things you could possibly hear a dying person say, where they know they can do nothing to avoid their death and yet are so deeply filled with regrets they cannot change. It's a small but real moment I always remember.

I know words don’t do justice until you experience it but the level of detail and foreshadowing in One piece is unbeatable - the later arcs that close the plot threads are god mode story telling and the emotional payoff hit unlike anything else! Some people criticise Luffy for choosing not to go after Ace but they miss the fact that it is only us who know Ace was in Impel Down. AS far as Luffy knows Ace is in trouble and the paper will return to normal when he is okay. Since the start of Luffy's advanture he too was in critical condition a bunch of times till now and if he has a vivrecard it would also shrink and expand after his fights with cricodile and lucci. Had Luffy known what kind of trouble Ace is in or where he is, he would have went after him, that is why he said I will meet him when the paper is full again.

In that episode Nami was describing what lies beyond the gates of justice and said there's only 2 other places you can go to within that area. One is navy HQ, and the other is Impel Down; a deep-sea prison which is where they said Ace is being held

Brook has to have one of the most depressing backstories in One Piece making a promise to Laboon to return, losing his captain to a plague, watching all of his crewmates die around him while they tried to record a song for Laboon, then wandering the Florian Triangle for decades due to a broken rudder, likely going a bit insane from the boredom and loneliness while surrounded by the corpses of his crew. And to top it all off, he had his shadow stolen by a warlord, leaving him unable to be in the sun for who knows how long—if he had never crossed paths with the Straw Hats. Also just a fun fact but along with brooks new mid card/eyecatcher in ep 381 Zoro's also changes a bit it changes from Yubashiri the sword he buried to his new sword Shusui. It's a small detail but I think it's a pretty cool addition

I love how Luffy’s character always subverts the expectations of watchers. You can never guess his next moves but once he reveals them it’s so easy to understand why he came to such decisions. Like ofc he won’t drop everything when Ace is in a pinch, trouble is part of the journey of being a pirate and they both know that. He may appear simple at face value but he’s such a deep and fascinating mc my goat fr 🫂

Just to clear up things about Brook’s backstory cuz I think there’s a bit of confusion; After dying, it took his soul one year to find his body. The ships rudder was broken so he then spent the next 50 drifting in the Florian Triangle, lost and unable to get out. Moria stole his shadow only 5 years ago.
