I really miss season 1. I think it’s one of those perfect individual seasons of TV like True Detective S1. I don’t dislike the later seasons but they do kind of go off the rails a bit mostly in a good, crazy way. But season 1, it feels just a bit more grounded and serious, the search for Will feels properly intense and emotional. All the different character arcs are well done and you get that excited feeling when the individual storylines start coalescing together. While the later seasons start to feel like big budget sci fi action movies. I think Season 4 was the best since this one, but it’s still different. Theres a world out there where this show never went past season 1 and it’d still be a 10/10 complete story

I’ve seen ST multiple times since I was 16.this show is so special and different than anything else. It’s the best show on Netflix in my opinion even with its flaws which are very few. It’s definitely in my top 2 beloved shows. I’d recommend it over and over. Each season has something different to offer but they are all great. Personally season 1 has the most scary vibe but overall the show isn’t scary. Season 3 is my favorite but season 4 exceeds expectations. This show has it all tbh.

What a pleasant surprise! A Stranger Things rewatch is totally in order. Ssn 1 is one of the best shows ever. It’s perfect. Not really a spoiler just thought I would mention something. Every season is based on some 80s genre. Not everybody likes that, I can tell from the response of fans. But I thought it was a cool idea so I can appreciate it for what it is. It doesn’t always work…..but it’s cool to me. I think this is gonna be another Breaking Bad situation where Carter didn’t appreciate how awesome this show was at the time. But He’s gonna LOVE it now.
