His quirk is probably one of the most difficult ones in the series to control properly and apply in battle. Just the amount of steps he has to go through and the downsides of him activating his quirk is enough to make anyone with less perseverance give up being something as in-the-spotlight and cutthroat as a hero. But him enduring all the scars and moving past the initially awkward stage of fine-tuning his control really makes me admire him as a character. He's just so likeable! And knowing what happens in S4 makes me even more excited to see your reactions to the next arc👀

Subtitles are still part of the screen and the screen isnt that enourmous that you cant both look at whats going on and read at the same time. If i don't look while reading, how am i supposed to know whats going on and what is the context of what was said? Just reading subtitles doesn't really make sense to me. If i just wanted to read I'd go read the manga. The animation is there to be looked at. Why would the anime "indicate when to look at the visuals as opposed to dialogue" when it is made without subtitles in mind? The animators and directors in Japan make this show assuming people just listen to and watch it. When it airs on TV it has no subtitles.

When you watch anime, are you always reading the subtitles, to try and not miss anything or do you look up from time to time to look at visuals, and might miss a sentence or two? I’ve always thought that I enjoy not missing anyone dialogue, and it’s not like I’m watching a horror film where I needed to be checking in my peripherals what’s going on visually to get the full experience. I’ve also thought when animes want to you to look at visuals as opposed to dialogue, they will indicate that to the audience anyway in some fashion. Im just wondering if I’m out of the norm or not.

If you can punch, you can punch harder. Quirks like todorokis and stuff are also relatively easy, you just spam Momos is so hard. You gotta be so detailed and just know everything, including how much fat you have left to even make it. She makes it seem so easy but to do all that focused and still be in the heat of the battle must be so overwhelming I really love the sentiment that it's what you make out of yourself and your quirk is what makes you great. I love that quirks go beyond surface level Like hagakure who can now reflect light intentionally instead of just passively with her body Koda can give orders to animals. What about humans? Aren't they animals too? What about humans that are closer to animals like tokoyami or tsu? could he use his quirk on them? What about the principal? Does it only work when the animal is "dumb"? Even tho birds are supposed to be smart? What about dumb humans like kaminari when he's overcharged? Can kaminari make a railgun? He can generate electricity but could he also absorb it? Bakugo also has to make so manyvcalculations when he's bombing it's great that his thinking also gets highlighted. Aizawa as well, his quirk is not a "fighting" Quirk but he's a hero anyway There are so many possibilities I love it. In the first season we have the exampld of someone generating water out of their own body and someone gathering moisture from the environment. Two quirks can have the same outcome but depending on how it actually works you could do so many things with it.
