MHA watch order goes (ideally + reasons): Season 2 -> Movie 1: Two Heroes Season 3 -> Season 4 -> Season 5 (Ep 1 to 16) Movie 3: World Heroes' Mission Season 5 (Ep 17 to 25) -> Movie 2: Heroes Rising Season 6 -> Season 7 (Ep 1-4) -> Movie 4: You're Next Season 7 (Ep 5-21) I know this looks super weird, but someone on reddit explained that it's because Studio Bones messed up the order of the arcs in the second half of S5. So canonically, movie 3 actually happens sometime in the middle of S5, while movie 2 actually happens after S5's ending, even though the studio released the two movies in the opposite order. OR, y'all can watch movie 2 after S5 Ep12, and movie 3 after S5 ends (this is what most reactors do if I'm not wrong, cause there are spoilers in movie 2 that aren't revealed until the middle of S5).

They have three semesters. (Notably, they're not called trimesters. I don't know why, but they're not.)

Specifically, the first movie has a tie-in episode in season 3, and the third movie has a tie-in episode during season 5, and the fourth movie has a scene that was changed to accommodate it in season 7. The second movie is set sometime during the events of season 5 but doesn't have a specific scene in the show telling us when to watch it. It's best to watch after season 5 in my opinion to avoid spoilers. Regardless, they're ALL canon and ALL referenced in the anime in one way or another (including the second movie). Also, they're ALL epic!

What Mineta was doing while he was saying "person" is the kanji for person (人) It's a common action people do when they are nervous. You have to draw the kanji in your hand and then swallow it. Asahi used to do it a lot in Haikyuu 😂 And R-rated is the equivalent of M-rated for us.

2025-05-06 23:48:56 +0000 UTCJust to explain a little bit about the Japanese school system, comparing it to the U.S. school system, school starts in April in Japan which is why there is so many cherry blossoms. Cherry blossoms bloom in the spring and can also represent new beginnings. High school consists of first, second, and third years in Japan, which compared to the U.S. would be 10th, 11th, and 12th grade. So, all the first years would be about 15 years old. They also do have actual sport events in Japan, obviously not at the scale of MHA, but have stuff like relay races, tug-of-war, etc. Since MHA is mostly focused on the high school students, I hope this clears up any confusion or questions.
