Mega Mashup Zip Pack: Oct 2023 – So many Halloween albums + more!

The mashup community was in absolute overdrive this past month, embracing the spooky season like never before! At least 7 full-length Halloween mashup albums were released (of which we've cherry-picked the best), as well as tons of other spoopy singles from other producers. But it's not all Halloween madness, as there are plenty of other tricks and treats in this month's zip pack! Here's what's in here:

• CastleR – Extremely Violent. Increasingly Loud – Is this even actually a Halloween album? This got released on Halloween last year, so it kinda fell between the cracks, which is a shame, as it's filled with lots of dark-tinged tracks. Not necessarily OVERTLY Halloween-y, but good stuff all the same.

• HallMighty - Disco Deluxe 8 – The eight edition in HallMighty's danceable disco series, this is hot off the laptop and into your life!

• Lewis Wake - Hallowake IV – Like all of Lewis Wake's Halloween albums, some of these tracks are a bit of stretch for the spooky theme, but that's also why we prefer Halloween to Christmas.

• MasDaMind - CYBERWEEN 2083 – Is this a Halloween album, or a cyberpunk album? Um... how about... BOTH? For our ears, this is much more cyber than spooky, but then again, what's more creepy and scary than a dystopian future?

• reconthuse - Dark Voices in Strange Places – Another excellent mashup album that stretches the conceits of what actually qualifies as "Halloween music," but there's no denying the quality of mashups here.

• Titus Jones - Nightmash, Volume 3 – The third volume in Titus' Nightmash series, these were all created on his weekly "Will It Mash?" show on his Twitch channel.

• Halloween 2023 – This is a folder of all the Halloween track odds and ends, the singles that weren't on any albums, or one-offs that were released this past month. These are all tagged "Halloween" in the Grouping field of the MP3 tags for easy searching.
