Doll Make-Up (story)

Kora is a young and beautiful makeup artist with albinism in her 20s who has begun to delve professionally into the world of makeup. She has been obsessed with makeup since she was a little girl, from those moments in her early childhood when she would watch her mother and sisters - who were stage actresses and ballet dancers - put on makeup or be professionally made up before a play. Kora was simply captivated and amazed from the very first moment by the powerful force of makeup. Simultaneously, being the only daughter of the famous theater actress and ballet dancer Gizel, who had no talent for acting or dancing, Kora decided to dedicate her life to investigating, learning, and contemplating the secrets of makeup artistry. Even though this would cause her to be considered the black sheep of the family for not following the path of acting or dancing, it would also lead to her experiencing ostracism, isolation, and subsequent estrangement from her family.

Back in the present day, during the scorching summer of 2033, Kora found herself at a crossroads. Having recently completed her studies in professional makeup through her own determined efforts while juggling various odd jobs, she now had to pave her own path in the intricate world of makeup and fame. On one hand, Kora had the option of leveraging her family's renowned background in the performing arts to secure a position as a makeup artist for actresses in theater, film, or television. However, Kora desired more for her life. She had grown weary of the elitism prevalent in that industry and felt discriminated against, constantly facing judgmental looks from those in her circle due to her decision not to pursue acting or dancing like the rest of her family.

On the other hand, Kora firmly believed that the sacred art of high makeup, responsible for enhancing people's beauty, should be accessible to everyone rather than being exclusive to a privileged elite within the entertainment world. Driven by her conviction that she was destined to unveil the secrets of professional makeup to the rest of the world, Kora began uploading videos on the internet, teaching interested individuals how to utilize these secrets. She hoped that this endeavor would propel her to internet stardom.

However, Kora's extreme shyness and lingering stage fright, stemming from childhood traumas inflicted by her family, caused her considerable nervousness whenever she spoke to the camera. As a result, her videos came across as somewhat awkward and failed to garner the anticipated viewership, further compounded by the abundance of competition. Consequently, despite her typically jovial and optimistic demeanor, Kora experienced exhaustion and depression in the following days. She may have even contemplated giving up if not for her boyfriend, Shue. Currently living together, Shue provided unwavering emotional support and encouraged her to overcome any obstacles standing in her way, urging her to pursue her dreams.

To Kora, during those challenging days, Shue's slender and exquisite figure seemed akin to that of a red-eyed, dark-haired angel descended from heaven. Although his eye and hair color would suggest the appearance of an elegant vampire or dark underworld demon king, it was Shue's beauty, kindness, and radiant smile that truly resembled that of an angel. Having been an orphan and the son of two esteemed scientists who vanished under mysterious circumstances, Shue was raised by his uncle. Despite his difficult past, he always approached life with a positive outlook, exuding energy and optimism. Though not exceptionally skilled, he had always been there for Kora since their chance encounter in childhood. Currently, he provides the much-needed support for Kora as she struggles to make progress towards her dreams. They reside together in the house Shue inherited from his late uncle and survive thanks to Shue's knack for statistics, which he employs for online speculation.

In this way, Shue has been the light in Kora's life, as if he were a beautiful, protective angel with red eyes and black wings. This image was imprinted in Kora's mind, and it made her realize the natural beauty that Shue possessed. So, what if Kora highlighted Shue's natural beauty by applying pastel and soft colors to him, as if he were a doll? Without wasting any time, Kora shared her ideas with Shue, who reacted with surprise at her request to do his makeup. Kora explained that if Shue allowed her to transform him into a beautiful porcelain doll, something not commonly seen in the media, it would showcase her makeup skills.

Shue hesitated at first, as he wasn't interested in dressing up as a woman. However, he recognized that accepting Kora's offer would help her pursue her career as a makeup artist. Eventually, he agreed, and the next day, with more time and planning, Kora delicately applied makeup to Shue's face using a popular technique that creates a shiny yet smooth and firm complexion. This technique had been used by an idol and a well-known makeup company for the past five years. Kora also trimmed Shue's hair and gave it a refined look, resembling a hime cut, which she believed suited him well.

After several hours of effort, including makeup application, hair trimming, and the use of hair extensions, Kora finished Shue's transformation. She eagerly prepared to reveal the results to him through a mirror. Shue was completely astonished when he saw himself, instantly falling in love with his doll-like appearance and blushing at his own beauty. Throughout the process, Kora had been recording a live video with her camera, sharing it with her social media followers.

To Kora and Shue's surprise, it seemed that Kora's tactics and her hypothesis about attracting attention by creating a fictitious boy who looked like a doll were correct. Not only that, but because of Shue's beauty accentuated by the makeup, he now resembled a beautiful doll princess from heaven. The video, which was recorded live and circulated afterward, went viral and garnered numerous peculiar yet intriguing comments. People requested more content of Shue being made up and donated varying amounts of money during the live stream and in the video. Some of these donations were quite generous, indicating the strong acceptance of Shue's appearance with Kora's makeup.

Kora and Shue had come seeking minor success, but they unexpectedly struck gold. While Kora's initial goal was merely to showcase her makeup skills, they achieved this in an extravagant manner. Furthermore, judging by the substantial amount of money earned from the video, they realized that the public's adoration for Shue being made up by Kora translated into a significant sum of money. It was enough for them to live comfortably for an entire month solely based on the earnings from that single live stream video. Thus, Kora and Shue decided to embrace the desires of their newfound audience. Kora saw an opportunity to attract significant attention and become a renowned internet makeup artist. Meanwhile, Shue reveled in the easy money, and his appreciation for his own feminine beauty stirred a sense of satisfaction and an unconventional pleasure in him. However, he had yet to communicate this aspect to Kora. Additionally, to further stand out, Shue chose to dye his hair blue, taking into account suggestions from the comments sections of the videos.

Since then, the public and donors have been asking Shue and Kora for more and more things, with the intensity of the requests increasing after each video. In a subsequent live-streamed video, they decided to fulfill one of the most outrageous but interesting requests from the donors: Shue would wear a female girdle to accentuate his hips and butt, along with fake breasts made of high-quality synthetic material. The material was designed to resemble skin but with a shinier, more makeup-like appearance. Kora, showcasing her skills as a makeup artist, ensured that the makeup on Shue's body and skin overlapped seamlessly with the texture of the fake breasts and girdle, making them indistinguishable from each other.

As time went on and they continued doing live broadcasts throughout the days, Shue wore the prosthetics for extended periods. At the end of each day, Shue was so tired that he decided to sleep with them on. Kora mentioned that removing the makeup at night was time-consuming, and reapplying it in the mornings was expensive. Hence, Kora only had to touch up the makeup between the girdle and the breasts, while the rest of Shue's skin remained unchanged. However, Shue still bathed with the girdle and breasts on every night for cleanliness, though as the days passed, the skin underneath became cleaner on its own. Dust or dirt particles would slide off Shue's smooth, reflective skin, thanks to the makeup-derived properties, leading Shue to believe that bathing might no longer be necessary as often (although he continued to do so for the time being).

However, to the great surprise of both Shue and Kora, after two weeks of wearing the prosthetics, they discovered that they could no longer be removed. Not only that, but the prosthetics seemed to have become permanently attached to Shue's skin, blending in seamlessly due to the constant makeup touch-ups. This revelation left Shue bewildered and blushing, especially as it occurred during a live broadcast while he posed in a white lingerie set that Kora had created to take advantage of the recent media interest and launch a clothing line. Additionally, Shue had been losing weight and becoming increasingly thin. Kora took this opportunity to claim that the makeup she used also served as a weight-loss aid if applied all over the body. She made this statement particularly because she had recently received sponsorship from the company manufacturing the makeup. Meanwhile, Shue remained dismayed, reproaching Kora, but unable to deny the new beauty of his transformed appearance. Kora, on the other hand, delighted in broadcasting all of this live, fueling the expectations of the donors who generously increased their donations.

Over time, as the days passed, two weeks later, Shue's attitude had already changed radically. It was as if the makeup, exploiting Shue's inherent perversity, amplified that perversity exponentially. There appears to be a clear correlation between the makeup and Shue's change in attitude. Prior to Kora applying the makeup (understandably tired since they are live broadcasting most of the day), Shue would be tired and sleepy. However, after applying the makeup, he would start behaving in a sweetened and euphoric manner, with less flexibility and agility in his movements. He became slower and clumsier, requiring more and more assistance from Kora each day for simple tasks or to change positions. Shue reached a point where he could no longer bend his knees and elbows on his own, except within limited angles. Whenever he walked, it was in a goofy, ridiculous, and constrained manner, reminiscent of a wind-up doll. This is when Kora began to worry and questioned whether the makeup contained neurotoxins among its ingredients, and if its excessive use could lead to immobility. However, Shue didn't seem concerned about his current mental state. He projected a goofy, sweetened personality, like a princess at a theme park. His personality only changed when he saw himself in a mirror, becoming obsessed with his own appearance and beauty, as if the reflection of his own beauty hypnotized him.

The days keep passing, and it has been two months since they started with that makeup and social media experiment. Since then, things have simply gotten out of hand, and the situation has finally overtaken them. Kora doesn't know what to do about it as she watches Shue slowly turning himself into a doll from the auto-suggestive effects of looking in the mirror and fulfilling donor requests.

On this occasion, a strange anonymous donor, going by the nickname "Karen1n@12," has become the majority donor and made a generous donation. They asked Kora to do Shue's hair differently, and Kora complied. Both Kora and Shue have become victims of their own ambition and slaves to the donors. However, Shue appears happy, or at least to the extent that he still talks a little, makes noises, and smiles all the time. It seems he is enjoying this new stage of his life. Despite this, Kora has been evaluating possibilities on how to retire from the live broadcasting business. Perhaps she should save a little more to be able to pay for Shue's medical and psychological expenses if necessary, because in the end, nothing they are doing is meant to be permanent, right? It's all just temporary.

Then, finally, a package arrives home from that mysterious anonymous donor. It contains a dropper with green liquid, instructions for use, a bag full of wads of bills, and a note. The anonymous donor asks Kora to try this "new cosmetic" on Shue's eyes, stating that it will make his eyes brighter and perhaps "shrink a little." Kora, though hesitant at first, sees that the note promises more money if she does it live. Furthermore, the anonymous donor has never sent anything that has hurt Shue before. So, she applies the drops to Shue's eyes.

Great is Kora's surprise when she sees Shue disappear behind a cloud of smoke, leaving only a small doll the size of her hand, like a figurine. Although Shue is still at least a little conscious, he is not fully aware. Simultaneously, she sees a large seven-figure donation appear on her monitor. As Kora dresses Shue in his new blue figurine dress, a dress that came with the dropper (and now Kora understands why), she thinks that maybe it's a good time to withdraw from the live feeds and seek ways to help Shue. She caresses Shue with her finger, and Shue hugs Kora's finger as he rests his head on it.

Months have passed, and Kora has moved on from the world of live broadcasting. Despite her gradual progress in the right direction, she hasn't been able to help Shue much. Upon contacting the makeup company, she learned that some of Shue's problems, such as the doll-like behavior, catalepsy, and the shiny, plastic-like reflective skin, are side effects of prolonged use of the makeup. However, Kora now faces a long wait for the company to provide a solution for these side effects. Furthermore, the company has requested her not to see a doctor but instead wait for their own doctor.

In the meantime, Kora keeps Shue entertained by taking him to figurine contests, where she usually wins first place. She carries him in a doll box inside her purse when she travels around the world to promote the makeup as a brand ambassador for the idol company that sponsors her. Exhausted from everything that has happened, Kora only hopes to find a solution for Shue and prevent any accidents during her travels. Despite the challenges, it seems that Shue enjoys his new circumstances as he always wears a smile.
