Haunted House III (story)
Added 2022-11-11 14:01:04 +0000 UTCAisling, frightened but showing a reckless attitude and willing to do everything possible to rescue her friends, runs after the trail of dark essence that this floating entity leaves in its wake. However, the trail of what appears to be the ghost's tail has led her to a dead-end corridor. Aisling wonders if it is a trap, even though she has no time to think, so she runs quickly to the living room of the abandoned house to avoid being trapped in that hallway without greeting in case she is intercepted or cornered by someone. On the one hand Aisling in that situation of danger tries to have a determined and reckless attitude, but on the other hand she cannot avoid an instinct as natural as fear, so she suffers at that moment a strange maelstrom of emotions, a mixture of feelings that she does not know how to handle.
Once Aisling is in the living room of the abandoned house, which looks from her perspective more and more like a haunted house, she sees some personal belongings lying on the floor, such as a strange gold necklace with a huge, shiny and apparently luxurious emerald, which even seems to give off a certain green glow in the dark. Said necklace is lying on top of an old family photo in a frame with broken glass among the rubble. In that family photo there is one person who especially captures her attention, a strange woman with very pale skin, deep red eyes and long black hair who is very similar to the winged silhouette she saw earlier, albeit without wings. That makes Aisling ask herself several questions... Has the visit of the group of friends disturbed some kind of ghost living in that house? If Aisling's assertion is true, in addition to the fact that ghosts do exist, it also turns out that this situation is completely out of her hands and, perhaps, she should run away to look for an expert on the subject or someone more qualified. In the meantime, she takes that necklace she found with the photo, since maybe she can find it useful against the ghost, or it will help her to understand or investigate all that situation around the person in the photo, who seems to be the ghost, once Aisling gets out of there.

However, before Aisling had more time to think about what was really happening, she heard Neshama's pleas for help like a distant echo that was getting farther and farther away in the immensity of the abandoned house. Aisling then, as a result of the adrenaline that she feels running through her veins at that moment, plucks up her courage, picks up a broken pipe that was lying on the floor of the living room and sets out to save her friend.
Finally, Aisling is on the ghost's back in what may turn out to be an epic combat, or so Aisling thinks. Then the winged shadow turns while holding her two new dolls. Aisling, filled with rage at seeing her friends turned into dolls, asks the ghost about their identity or what it wants from them or, just in case, asks the winged shadow about whether they have disturbed her peace by going in there and if there is a way to remedy her mistake.

However, the winged shadow, seeing Aisling with indifference, seeing her rage, simply throws her friends, or well, the dolls they were turned into. Aisling, surprised, maneuvers as fast as she can to catch them in mid-air, so they don't fall. Once she has caught them she looks at her friends with curiosity, who have now been turned into two tiny and harmless dolls, although they are certainly cute, or so thinks Aisling, who finds Neshama and Cassandra prettier turned into dolls than being people because of the fight they had before, although she does not understand why they have ended up being turned into naked dolls with swabs inserted in their vaginas, or if that had really been necessary.
However, Aisling is still completely puzzled and confused as to why the winged shadow has transformed her friends into objects and then shows little interest in her, so Aisling expresses her doubts to the winged shadow looking for answers. Then the winged shadow returns to see her in an apathetic and indifferent way, and only resolves to say that she just wanted to have some fun while looking for an object that someone forgot there days ago. Then Aisling shows the object to the winged shadow, which makes the winged shadow totally change her look, which goes from apathy to anger.

The winged shadow cries out, "How could you touch my necklace! You are not worthy to do so!" and then subdues Aisling with a tentacle that escapes from her dress. Aisling, who is totally frightened, wonders if she has made a mistake, even though she doesn't have much time to reflect, as quickly her body becomes more and more rigid, while a warm and pleasant sensation runs through her body from head to toe like an electric current. Finally, Aisling ends up turned into a music box doll with a beautiful and delicate pink tutu, as she spins around being held and her music box by the hand of the winged shadow.

Finally, after a long and stormy night, the sun begins to rise again, illuminating some new and delicate dolls lying in the rubble of the ruined house. Finally, the clouds open up in the sky and it seems that nothing has happened inside that abandoned house, except for the fact that there are two mannequins and three dolls that do not fit in with the ruinous appearance of the house because of their perfect condition, as if they were recently manufactured dolls.
Meanwhile, a slender, beautiful figure walks through the rubble. She is a clumsy and careless woman looking for something she forgot yesterday when she visited that house. The cab driver, who got out to accompany her so that she would not enter that house alone, asked her why she had visited that house yesterday and what was so important that she forgot, to which the woman replies that she forgot a family heirloom, a necklace that she believes was her mother's, and furthermore, she cannot help but hear a chaotic voice in her head demanding her to return when that necklace gets away from her, even though she had to return the next day since it was already very late at night when she realized it. She also commented to him that that house is really her property since it was her parents' house, even though she abandoned it because it brought her very bad memories, especially of her father.
[Drawing 5]
Luckily for the woman, she quickly found the necklace lying on the floor, but once she went to pick it up, she realized that there are two mannequins and three dolls in front of the necklace. It seems that, in a way, the woman's destiny is to find dolls everywhere she goes.
