Connecting icons timelapse π

Whatever you do, please try to squeeze in a break or two especially at times when life keeps giving you lemons and don't be like me and let the stress build up. π« I'm just happy it's over now! So I'll be catching up on this week's posts more tomorrow when I'll finally get to the last month's rewards.
But first, here's another pair of icons from the latest batch I finished last month! :) It took me a couple of tries to get the background colors right in a way that wouldn't blend to the characters too much or draw attention away from them, but was eventually able to find a solution I was happy with. For anyone wondering; I worked on the hair tuft separately as the finished icon includes a version with and without it!
