Ginga (timelapse)
Added 2024-08-19 19:40:43 +0000 UTCI apologise for the lack of updates as I've been sick, but as I'm now recovered I'll try my best toi make up for the sluggish schedule with more updates and a bigger step-by-step post! So here's what to expect this week as my work resumes as usual.
Before that, the Artfight series continues - with more Ginga inspired work! Absolutely loved drawing this, and I think this is a great example of how I shouldn't be too quick to judge my work by the lineart alone (I have a BAD habit of doing that) as I think the lighting was what tied it all together this time. I was stressing out it would be too boring or flat, but after adding some color I was able to see the potential as it brought some much needed sense of depth to the piece. When they say "trust the process" they mean it!
