Before she sets out on a perilous mission, I wanted to showcase Space Girl Jennifer and her kit. We've come a long way since the early days of Daz Studio 3 and Victoria 4. But the outfit is essentially the same. I haven't re-used anything from the Blue Angel outfit - this is a lovely new bodysuit model with wrinkles. I spent quite a while making the velvet gloves and disco boots. Jennifer has a cool space pilot helmet but if - by any chance - she should take it off (or it falls off) then her lovely long dynamic hair will spill out.
I don't know what it is about Summer holiday period but this is the WORST time trying to get a few hours alone to work indoors on Daz renders. Thanks for your patience.
Just a bit of an update - in the last week since posting the preview, I managed to get in touch with Darkshade, the original photographer behind the Superheroine's Demise website. He told me a little bit more about the character (who was originally called Crimson Commander), her origins (some Japanese retro sci-fi) and the model who played her. Sadly it seems that he lost an HDD with the specific photo set that inspired Space Girl - called On The Heels Of Evil - and he was delighted that I had saved some 47 out of the 250 images. This was a time before Discord servers and cloud backup!
On that note, I often wonder if any of you are similarly archiving my fifteen years of work? The reason I bring this up is that, in the current day, it's not just about the risk of me losing an SSD - payment processors are currently in a new wave of crackdown on art. If you see a set you like, feel free and welcome to download it. It might not be online forever and, after I am gone, maybe in freer times someone might be able to piece it all together again.
