Is Nurse Evie doomed?
This is the first half of a final part which I planned as around 15 frames but will probably run to 20-25, and thus it made sense to split it into two. I hope you all had a good Winter Break - in my case Christmas and New Year obviously obstructed me working on the story and so it's been two weeks since the last episode. U.S.S. Archer is now the longest picture story I have made (in over a decade) and may well run to over 100 images. So there's no way I am going to rush the finish, and I want to give these money shots all the time and effort they require. Unfortunately with 12 characters now on the bridge, I am hitting the 16GB memory cap on my high-end GPU and this is causing problems for rendering that are requiring creative solutions. Perhaps if a few of those 12 get disintegrated things will speed up again...
Let me know how you feel about the fate of the crew and the ship, as things start to turn dark. Has your favourite crewman already perished?

2025-02-23 13:18:09 +0000 UTCI've loved this series so far and am so happy that you've made it as long as you have! Also I can't say how much I love these TOS costumes! The colors and the long nylon clad legs with no shortage of close up shots. (Up until now I'd be lying if I didn't want to see all of your characters in them). And then the images of the body piles around the bridge! The innocence of star trek, and the anticipation of seeing the defeated poor officers. The silly and sexy disposed of positions. I wanted to see this but also don't want them to lose! I'm hoping this is one of those Kobayashi Maru scenarios or even before she gets shot by a Klingon, an impromptu "computer: end program" where we find out what the real test was lol. I know that's wishful thinking. Cant wait to see the ending and it makes me want to see so many more stories with similar costumes!
