As I mentioned previously, the delay in getting this part done was that I had a four day trip away after posting Part #4. I'm still looking to get the last two parts completed in time for the cast Christmas Party (if they can survive the story - cosplay can be dangerous). Just as a note, I'm really pushing the new PC to the limit. I've never done a scene with 9 characters before (essentially it's my entire roster). The arrival of Doctor D'Arcy and Nurse Evie on deck means that this is the first story to feature Amanda and Penelope together. In more than ten years! And who knows, maybe the bridge is about to get even more crowded.
Let me know what you think might happen (or what you would like to see) next, and as always let me know who's your favourite officer. What do you think of the new hairdo's? Should I keep some of them?
