Brief update, with some temporary bad news
Added 2024-08-12 17:46:15 +0000 UTCHi there. Don't want to type a whole page about this so let's try and do it super-briefly.
NON TECHNICAL VERSION
My new PC has a fault, Daz keeps crashing, I hope to fix it by the end of the month. Sorry.
TECHNICAL VERSION
On the new PC, over the last two weeks, I have had a lot of problems with Daz Studio - and various games etc - crashing in Windows. After a long and extensive analysis (thanks, NO advice needed please) and after talking to the company that built my PC, we have concluded that my CPU, the Intel i9-14900K, has been affected by the widely publicised over-volting issues, is compromised, and is going to have to be replaced. Intel has released some new 'microcode' in the last 48 hours that it being pushed out in motherboard updates, to deal with the design fault and stop these high end CPU's damaging themselves. For those already affected, like me, the only option is to RMA the machine, get the CPU replaced and the BIOS reflashed to the latest version. As the latest BIOS version for my motherboard is not yet out, I have to wait and see before getting this repair done. This has really affected my ability to produce artwork as Daz has crashed several times now, losing me hours of work on scenes. Not good. Sorry for the lack of posts, this is the reason.
REQUEST
This is not a good time to say either of the following:
"Well I haven't been affected"
"Should have bought AMD"
You can imagine what my thoughts are right now concerning the whole issue and Intel. Many thousands of people are affected by this. This is the PC equivalent scandal to Boeings falling out of the sky.

I do hope to post a Young Amanda update and also a very hot scene with Jennifer that I made last week, which hopefully I can get to render in a Patreon-suitable version before I get this PC fixed.
Thanks for your understanding.
Ended up writing a page anyway.

I'm sorry to hear that this is impacting you, and I know it can't be a fun time, but it's good to hear that you have a plan to sort things out. Take as much time as is needed, we'll still be here once everything's back in place.
