Studio of the New PC #5 - Jennifer Adams

Hello folks. It's been a mixed month for me - had COVID, went on holiday, it's been hot and I have spent a lot of time outside. As a consequence I haven't got my teeth into major Daz proejcts (sorry) and have just been continuing my long overdue update of my cast, as well as installing and testing lots of new clothes and hairdos.

Does anyone else like Jennifer as much as I do?

She was the first new girl I made from scratch with Genesis 8 Female, who didn't exist as a prior cast member.

It was nice to give her a run out as a Blue Angel earlier this year. I had one comment that she looks like a 'young Gillian Anderson' which I do see and which cannot possibly be a bad thing.

Bit of background about Jennifer - canonically, not the Blue Angel :-) I thought it might be nice for Amanda to have an understudy. My idea was that as Amanda moved to the latter part of her academic career (i.e. she become a postgraduate in her mid 20's) that she would become a tutor to incoming students. Jennifer is an all-in Amanda fangirl, who read about her Young Detective exploits and was inspired to follow her path, somewhat obessionally including working super hard so she could get into Harvard and follow her there. I kind of see the relationship developing into a rather awkward romantic one - awkward because it's one-sided and places Amanda in a difficult position. Amanda herself has had a fling with Hannah in the past and, just to be clear, Amanda and Ciara are BFF's but have never been a thing.

Jennifer has an absolutely vast wardrobe, partly because she looks good in anything I try on her. As you've seen in the past, she did her best to mimic 'the outfit' as worn by Amanda - I did say there's something rather obsessional about her interest. Attached are two versions of that. She also has a sweater vest and a 'Jungle Explorer' outfit. Jennifer in the Jungle was a story I had planned back in the old PC days, and I did do initial concept renders here:

The problem - as always with that PC - is that my frame rate dropped to 1 per second when i tried to create anything in the jungle, with mist, and vines, and all that stuff. I now hope to revisit the idea with the new PC, which is why I have been doing a full update on Jennifer.

I know... promises promises.

Wow, I have typed a lot. I actually have more to post... the end of the month has rushed up to meet me and as usual I need to give you guys something for your subscription to persuade you to stay for another cycle :-)
