Studio of the New PC #4 - Rachel Fox

Villains are important, if you're going to have heroines, and villainesses are a particular pleasure.

Just a little bit of history, I first introduced the character Rachel Fox in a (long) short story I wrote back in 2012. It's still on deviantART here.

Rachel was introduced into Amanda's world as a fellow student at Harvard, but very quickly suspicions started to build about her background, real identity and her motives. In the end, she double-crossed Amanda in order to steal her notes and a valuable codebook, leading to a hidden Mayan temple and a precious golden mask.

I meant to write a sequel, but it was too ambitious, and exists only in my head.

Now, of course, anyone who hurts Amanda has to deal with Ciara. Rachel and Ciara ended up resolving their differences by means of a fight - some of which remains on deviantART here.

Rachel even subsquently appeared in a number of stories made by the fabulous Demir3D (long since banned by the fun-snipers at dA sadly).

I did re-make Rachel in Daz 4 using a Genesis 8 Female base, a couple of years back. But I didn't have a lot of things installed there and so just gave her the old hair cut from Daz 3, which is a very inflexible prop and looks crap nowadays compared to the truly awesome hair models being created by Out of Touch and others. I think it's partly because I almost hated this 'helmet' of a cut that Genesis 8 Rachel has been on the back burner.

As you know I have been going through trying to pick out my top models and updating them on the New PC so I have a base going forward for epic adventures. I found this haircut for Rachel which is just the right kind of modern/retro mix. I really like it, it gives her a new updated style, and I can tell you I am definitely NOT going back to the helmet! I hope you like Rachel's new style and these initial outfits I created for her. I think she looks distinctive and evil-pretty and I hope to give her a new lease of life in new environments. She's coming for Amanda and Ciara!

Rachel needed a bit of 'persuading' to lie down for some floor shots. She may be a baddie, but she's not immune to falling victim herself - ask any giant spider!
