Here she is. If you hadn't read the script then this is why I was doing all the soul searching and looking back over the last couple of days. It's always nerve-wracking when I launch a new Amanda, even though I have pulled it off twice before and I am very convinced of the new one's quality.
Close watchers (are there any?) might have noticed that Hannah's comeback quickly turned into a showcase of Amanda II, and she was very well received too. I must admit, it left me missing the days when Amanda looked like a supermodel. So I stopped that sequence quite abruptly and then, during the next few days, the appropriate opportunity popped up. The model I have used, after ten more days of changes and testing, now looks very little like the one in the Daz store, however I am still going to keep her identity a secret as long as she is the current Amanda.
A couple of things to reassure some of you. Amanda IV and Amanda III have almost identical bodily proportions (there's no point changing a winning formula). However, as you see more of AJIV you will hopefully spot that she has loads of wonderful details, and is a much higher definition and more realistic model. Secondly, it's going to be a while before I would even attempt to make a young version of AJIV, and that's partly down to whether anyone would even ask for it and whether she would look at all right. So, for the foreseeable future, Amanda III is staying on as Young Amanda. The blue check shirt and St Hilda's uniform is safe with her.
Amanda IV is definitely aged in her mid-20s and has a more mature look. But then, why not, for a character with the history she has? I suppose where I am going with this is Amanda IV is more like the second version of Amanda II. She's Amanda 2x2... Amanda squared. So if you're a fan of office wear, heels, high cheekbones, arched brows, luscious lips, spectacles and dire peril then you should probably stick around.
I just attach four very basic renders here with plain backgrounds, intentionally, as I want the focus on Amanda herself. As a bonus, I hereby repost the Amanda References sheet. You'll hopefully see the influence of Supergirl Comic Linda Danvers (top left) and Lauren Cohan / Maggie (bottom right)... with, if I say so myself, a little injection of Denise Richards circa 1997-2000.
I hope you like her. Whatever you think, please let me know, though also give her time until you've seen more.
